Kayak Carolina was founded on November 20, 1998 the day the owners John and Angela finished a 300 mile plus kayak expedition of the North Carolina and Outer Banks coast, starting at Virginia Beach, VA and finishing in Carolina Beach, NC. We are completely devoted to the sport and lifestyle of kayaking, preservation of nature and environmental education. And we love to share the kayaking experience with you. We are trained interpretive naturalists. We have certified instructors by the American Canoe Association. All guides are first-aid certified in Wilderness First-Aid and CPR. We have over 30 years combined experience in teaching, kayaking and the paddle sports industry. We are skilled, knowledgeable, safety-oriented, courteous and fun. The beautiful waters, marsh and secluded sandy beaches of the Carolinas are our backdrop as we teach you the easy how to steps of kayaking.
